FIREARM SAFETY SEMINAR

This is a great opportunity to learn more about all different firearms, how they function, safety rules, ammunition, storage, cleaning and what to expect as you begin your journey into firearm ownership. Great for new shooters, new gun owners and especially those living in the same home with a firearm owner or anyone looking to hear the positive side of firearms.

NRA BASIC PISTOL COURSE
FULL INSTRUCTOR-LED COURSE

THIS IS A FULL INSTRUCTOR LED COURSE. NO PRE-COURSE WORK REQUIRED AND MATERIALS WILL BE PROVIDED.

COVERS ALL OF THE BASICS INCLUDING PROPER GRIP, SHOOTING FUNDAMENTALS, CLEANING AND LIVE FIRE RANGE TIME.

QUALIFIES AS A LIVE FIRE COURSE AND CERTIFICATE ISSUED UPON COMPLETION. CERTIFICATE IS GOOD FOR OUT OF STATE PERMIT APPLICATIONS AS WELL AS UPGRADING TO UNRESTRICTED FOR CERTAIN NY COUNTIES. COST $85 PER PERSON.

INTRODUCTION TO CONCEALED CARRY Course

A foundation course designed to review basic firearm rules and begin to incorporate the mindset and skills needed to consider carrying your firearm. Topics include moral and legal issues, situational awareness, holster placement, carry position, firearm acquisition and scenario drills. Pistol, holster and 100-200 rounds of ammo.

pISTOL NEXT STEPS

Perhaps you have done some training, taken a course or two, but what else is there? What else can I do to improve my shooting ability, performance and confidence in using my firearm? If you ask yourself these questions, Next Steps-Pistol is for you. We designed Next Steps to keep you on track, answer your specific training questions and provide regular practice and instruction that you need to further your shooting skill and discipline.

PISTOL SKILLS, DRILLS & THRILLS Course

Learn about what it takes to become more proficient with your handgun and continue to develop the skills of shooting. Loaded with a variety of drills you can take away and practice over and over. Designed to reinforce the safety rules and build on the fundamentals of pistol shooting. If you have taken this course before, no two are the same. We change up the targets and shooting to make it exciting and interesting each time.

ADVANCED DEFENSIVE
PISTOL COURSE

Great opportunity for anyone wishing to move on to the next step in their pistol shooting training. Begin to feel comfortable with concealed carry or just get more practice with your pistol in various scenarios. Attendees will shoot from a holstered position at various stationary and moving targets using standard targets as well as reactive steel targets. Attendees will shoot approx. 300 rounds of ammo during this course.

NRA Basic Pistol Course - Blended

This is a blended style course, online pre-course work is required. This enables the course to be conducted in a shorter timeframe, 5 hours vs the standard 8 hour course. There is an additional fee to complete the online work.

Qualifies as a live fire course and certificate issued upon completion. Space is limited and courses do fill quickly.

NRA Basic Pistol
Instructor Course

This NRA Instructor Pistol Shooting Course is designed to provide you with the knowledge, skills and attitude essential to organizing, promoting and teaching the NRA's Basic Pistol Shooting course.

This course will cover Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and discipline specific training (Basics of Pistol Shooting). As per NRA policies and guidelines, all instructor candidates MUST complete the following:

- Pre-course questionnaire

- Pre-course assessment exercises

- Successful completion of the NRA Basic Pistol Course (Instructor led version)

All materials will be provided, including NRA Trainer's Guide, NRA Pistol Shooting Instructor Outline and Lesson Plan and NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting student packet.

Certification presented upon successful completion
